So I accidently shoved the SD card into the Wii DVD slot and can't get it out now ): Installed homebrew channel, then Priiloader, then cIOS, then nintendont, then USB loader and it worked fine without me needing to change any settings. I played GameCube games just fine on the new Wii I bought yesterday, without any need to do any configuration. Select " GameCube mode" as Nintendont and it should be fine. Maybe try an (U) rom if your (E) rom didnt work, compatbility can vary between regions and it seems to be a case of trial and error for many n64 ones! Snowboard Kids 1 is amazing on it (just as i remember it!), SBK2 seems very slow in comparison but Ive never played SBK2 before so maybe its a fault of the games and not the emulator (even though the compatbility list says SBK1 has errors and SBK2 is perf, its the other way around)ġ - as far as I know, doing a system update over the internet resets your Wii completely, uninstalling custom iOS, Dios Mios etc.Ģ - in the global settings for USB loader there is a section called "loader settings”. maybe thats it?Įdit 4: Apparently the newer versions of usb loader gx dont have the "GC Loader" options as they display GC games by default, except they dont show for me? Maybe I need to put the app or Nintendont's boot.dol onto the USB apps-folder as well as the SD card'sĮdit 5: Unrealted, but OP said Goldeneye doesnt work for him? Try not64, Goldeneye works good apart from a bit of slowdown here and there, very playable from what I seen though. Gunna reformat.Įdit 3: So reformatted and everything works gravy except cant load GC games via USB Loader GX still.lol - told the Custom Paths to look in USB/Games, but I dont see the setting to make the GC Loader "Nintendont" anywhere.
Remove unushed Koren IOS 40,41,43,45.Įdit2: I chose to install ios36.as something? Who knows, maybe ill end up bricking this thing.
I went into "remove stubbed IOSs" in settings, and idk which option allows me to remove the dios-mIOS.
If I want to reformat my Wii (it has dios-mios/nintendont etc) back to square one, to re-hack again, whats my best option? Just formatting the Wii from system settings would do it, or do i need to remove other stuff that the format might not? Thxxx :>Įdit: Installed MMM, still not sure how to remove diosmios. I feel like I may have asked this before, but idk, and youre the expert soo. Then USB loader will show all games together and automatically use Nintebdont to boot a Cube game. Make sure both Wii and GameCube are ticked. You can click one of the options on the top row of the USB loader screen and select what games are shown.
